Quality Engineer. Our market leading manufacturing client are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. Quality Engineer duties include;

  • Support and lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Implement containment actions, root cause analysis and permanent long term actions using 8D.
  • Lead multi-departmental design and process FMEA sessions.

Quality Engineer experience needed:

  • Must be an experienced creating CMM programs
  • Experience of PC-Dimis a big advantage
  • Experience with Root cause analysis and permanent long term actions using 8D.

CNC Machinist

Job Duties for CNC Machinist:

  • Producing accurate manufactured machined parts to a high standard both dimensionally and visually;
  • Provide input and support to the manufacturing/production team;
  • Work from engineering drawings
  • Produce parts in line with drawing tolerances.

Skills and Experience for CNC Machinist:

Experience on a CNC Milling Machine (5 axis advantageous) in a precision engineering environment adhering to ISO9001:2000;

  • Experience in CNC Turning or Milling
  • Ability to inspect own work;
  • Ability to read technical drawings;
  • 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC Milling Machines
  • CNC Lathes
  • Manual Milling, Turning and Grinding;
  • Bench work;

    Electrical Design Engineer

    Preferred Skills

    • 5 years proven experience
    • Knowledge of SolidWorks a big advantage
    • Knowledge of working in a practical electrical development environment
    • Control panel layout design
    • Be able to create and write control specifications for new products or modification to existing products
    • Technically astute with knowledge of Electronics, PC/PLC Control Systems
    • Have an understanding and the ability to generate accurate BOM’s

    Manufacturing Engineer

    Manufacturing Engineer duties:

    • Support new product introduction activities, working closely with Design Engineering, ensuring that new capabilities/methods are at the required level of readiness for production
    • Assess and develop new and innovative technologies that provide demonstrable benefits to the business to the point they can be introduced to production
    • Ensure methods and processes are capable of meeting requirements for safety, quality, delivery rate, cost and lead time
    • Lead FAT and SAT testing on all new pieces of production equipment
    • Develop, improve and provide innovation to current manufacturing process, including the trial and implementation of new technologies
    • Knowledge of Lean principles and quality problem solving tools
    • Experience of creating PFMEA's and implementing appropriate improvement actions
    • Conduct Production Validation Tests and author reports for any new products/processes
    • Specification and design of tooling, fixturing and equipment to support defined manufacturing processes, including its procurement, commissioning and use.
